A Sweet Confession ( a TegoMasuPi FanFic )
“Konnichiwa minnasan~!” greeted the host of a popular talk show in Japan. “Today, we have a very special guest.. Help me welcome… TegoMasu~!”
TegoMasu then entered the scene starting off with Tegoshi who introduced himself with his hand signature followed by a bright-smiling Massuda.
“Ahh! Thank you so much for inviting us here host-san.” That was Massu.
“Iie.. It’s our honor to have both of you here in our show..” replied the host.
“Wow! Thank you so much.” Said Tegoshi.
The host of the said show motioned them to sit down. The duo followed. Massu was being a gentleman that he let the younger guy sit first and be comfortable before he sat beside him. This simple gesture made the fangirls grew wild with pure admiration towards them.
“So,” the host started, “TegoMasu is having a new single, right?”
“Hai..!” they said in unison. They looked at each other.. their eyes were communicating, Tegoshi nodded at Massu. It’s like a signal that he’ll let the latter announce their single.
“Hai… Hai…” Massu said, “ our new single is Aoi Bench and it’ll be released on February, I hope you’ll all support us, neh?”
Excitement from the audience was in the air.
“Minna!” Tegoshi called up their attention.. “Do you like to hear a few lines from our song?”
Everyone agreed.. There was silence from the audience as the duo sang a part of the song in acapella. And when it ended, everyone was clapping and cheering.
“Arigatou~! Please support us as you always did, nehh?!” Tegoshi said in a cute manner.
“Maa~ no one can resist such a cute creature!” the host commented.
The audience agreed and made a loud roar. Massu, on the other hand, couldn’t help himself but smile while looking at Tegoshi. He was silently admiring his self-proclaimed other half.
The interview went on for a few minutes before the host showed a surprise message for the two, “Hai.. douzo!”
The crowd started to yell and flail when a hot guy appeared on screen.
“Konkon minna~!! Ehh.. Please do support TegoMasu’ new single the way you supported me and NEWS. I’ve always loved these two.. So, Massu and Tegoshi, Ganbatte ne? and Omedetou! Just do it~!!!”
“Kakkoi~!” Tegoshi commented in a low voice. He has always been admiring their leader everdince.
Massu, who heard what he said just shut his mouth. But deep inside, he’s bleeding. Yes! He’s jealous. So jealous of YamaPi. But he can’t do anything. He knew of Tegoshi’s admiration for Pi. It’s hard for him but fear is somehow enveloping his heart. He’s afraid that if he tell Tegoshi how he feel, the younger would grew aloof and put a gap between them.
Massu woke up from his thought when Tegoshi pat his shoulder.
“Neh? Daijobu?” he asked worriedly at Massu.
“Hai..” he flashed him his smile.
The show ended with them thanking Yamapi, the staff and the audience.
“Massu!” called Tegoshi, he was half-running towards him.
“Uhn? Nande?” he turned back to face Tegoshi. He was about to go to his car.
“Ano~ can I tag along? I didn’t bring my car. Please?” he pleaded using his puppy-like charm.
“Brat! Like I have a choice?”
“Yattah! Iku yo~!!” he dragged Massu to the parking area. He was unconsciously holding the other guy’s hand as he walked playfully. This simple connection between them made Massu’s heart skip a beat.
“If only Tegoshi knew.” He sighed.

“Ahh~ Shiawase data. Hearing that from Pi made me really happy. What do you think Massu?” he asked.
They were in the car. Massu was driving while Tegoshi is sitting beside him.
“Uhn.. Yeah.. I’m happy too.” He answered plainly.
“Maa~ he’s really kakkoi. I don’t know but I admire him a lot! Yamapi is just so great.!”
Tegoshi kept on mentioning Yamapi. He kept on praising him without even knowing that everytime he does, a tiny crack appears on Massu’s heart.
They arrived at Tegoshi’s place.
“Thanks for the ride. Do you want to come inside? I’ll prepare some snacks.” He invited. Massu accepted the invitation, not because of the food but because he still wants to spend more time with the guy he secretly loved.
A happy aura welcomed him as they entered Tegoshi’s unit. Tegoshi let him sit on the sofa first while he prepares the snack.
His eyes roamed around the room. He saw pictures of NEWS, Tegoshi’s family, friends. He even saw a picture of them together but he also saw something in that room which made him frown. And that frown was not hidden from Tegoshi’s eyes. The latter looked at the spot where Massu was staring and found out it was his collection of YamaPi’s singles and albumtogether with a YamaPi uchiwa. Tegoshi smiled.
“Are~? What is that frown for?” he teased Massu.
“Ehh? Am I frowning? No.. I’m not!” Massu tried to sound happy.
“But I saw you,” Tegoshi continued,” ehh…? Is it just me or you’re jealous with YamaPi?”
“Me? Jealous? What are you talking about?” Massu said, he was uneasy this time.
Tegoshi continued to tease him. He acted like a spoiled brat and a bully at the same time.
“So what if I am?” Massu gave up. So what if I’m jealous? Can you do anything about it? Yes Tegoshi.. I’m jealous. And I hate it everytime you show your admiration towards him. I hate it every time you mention his name when it is me you are with.”
Silence filled the air for a few moments.
“I’m sorry about that..” Massu sighed and looked down.
Tegoshi smiled silently and went near him. He lift the older guy’s head to face him.. “Then, why didn’t you tell me?” he asked.
“I.. I was afraid.. I’m afraid that I might lose you.” He confessed.
Tegoshi sat beside him.. “Do you love me?”
Massu turned to his direction. He looked straight into the younger’s eyes.. “Yes, I love you.. I’ve always loved you.. I’m sorry that,,”
“Shhhhh.” Tegoshi stopped him from saying anything by placing his index finger on Massu’s lips.
“Are you not going to ask me if I feel the same way too?”
Massuda gulped. Their position at that moment was insane that he felt like a galloping horse was inside his chest. He sighed, “Do you love me?”
Tegoshi smiled sweetly at him. For a moment, they were motionless.. They just staring into each others eyes.. waiting for something to happen.. And then~.. Tegoshi closed the minute space between them and gave Massu a kiss.
Massu was surprised that even after that kiss, he was still motionless. It took a few minutes for him to go back to his system.. And when he did, “ Does that mean?”
“Yes Massuda Takahisa.. I love you too…”
Upon hearing those words, Massu automatically hugged him.. “But.. What about YamaPi?”
Tegoshi run his fingers on Massu’s cheeks.. YamaPi.. is someone I admire.. BUT.. Massu.. is someone that I love.. And there’s a really big difference between the two, right?”
“Ohh~!! Tegoshi!!! You don’t know how happy I am~!! I love you~!! I love you so much!”
“I love you.. I love you.. I love you too.. my Massu~!” Tegoshi answered with equal happiness.. Each word was sweet and true.
This time, Massu took his move.. He held Tegoshi’s waist and pulled him closer to him.. and slowly, their lips met. Massu kissed him with such passion. Overwhelmed with what’s happening, Tegoshi place his arms around Massu’s neck and answered the latter’s kisses with equal gentleness, passion and love..
