PART ONE: Something Interesting
It was summer. The weather was good, a perfect time for picnic.
“Sis Harumi, faster~! I’m so excited to go out in the park.. Everything seems so perfect. The weather.. the food.. the scenery..” Kiyomi was babbling at her sister.
“Hai.. hai.. I’m coming now. I just have to prepare my camera,” she smiled while showing her sister the camera on her hand, “ You know… we might find something interesting and for memories sake.” She winked.
Kiyomi laughed at her sisters childish yet naughty act.. She knows her sister pretty well and she know exactly what “something interesting” means. “Such a bakka sis~!!!” she commented..
“I know… hahahaha” Harumi answered her with a laugh.
On the other hand…
“Maa.. I can’t imagine us spending time like this bro.. it’s been a while nee?” Shou excitedly murmured to his brother Shin.. They were at the park. Just a while ago they were playing basketball and now they were lying on the grass while watching the clear blue skies.
“You’re right Aniki.. We deserve to have a break anyway… you know.. from all the busy schedules.. from recording to guestings.. Man.. I’m tired..” Shin said.
“Yeah right…” agreed Shou.. He gently closed his eyes and started to relax.. still on a lying position beside his brother.
“Sis… this is a perfect spot~!! Let’s place the blanket here…” Kiyomi suggested to her sister. They placed their picnic basket and prepared for their picnic bonding together…
They chitchat for a bit before Harumi decided to excuse her self.
“Anou.. sis.. I’ll leave you for a bit.. I wanna take some pictures of the sky.. and look at the clouds over there… It’s sooo kawaii…”
“Okay sis Harumi.. Take your time.. I’ll just relax here for a bit and enjoy my music.” After saying so, Kiyomi took out her ipod from her bag and listened to random music on her list.
Harumi was busy… She enjoys taking pictures of random things a lot. She took pictures of the trees, the flowers, the sky. She even took some pictures of the children who were enjoying themselves by playing under the summer heat.
She continued to walk and then the lens of her camera captured “something interesting”. She took off the camera from her eyes and looked at that certain direction. Again, she placed her eyes on the camera and focused at that spot.. “OMG~!! This isn’t a sin right? Just a single picture.. it’s enough… right?” she thought and freely pushed the camera button into a click.
She reviewed the captured picture from her camera… “Ohh.. such a lovely view.. “ she commented.
“What lovely view? You mean.. my brother?” a deep voice ringed behind her.
“Ooops.. Busted..” she thought.. she was frozen and couldn’t move from her spot.
“Hey… young miss?” the guy from behind her made her face him… Hurriedly, she closed her eyes for she was damn embarrassed with what she did.
The guy, upon seeing her expression was at first stunned but later on a sweet smile appeared on his lips.. “Nee… daijobu… open your eyes… I’m not gonna eat you or something.” He said with a small grin.
Although with thumping heart, she slowly opened her eyes and saw an angel with a devilish grin. “Shit~!!!” her mind shouted. “Go—gomenasai.. Don’t worry… I’ll erase it now.. I’m really sorry.. I~”
She was not able to continue for the guy spoke.. “My name is Shou.. and you are?” he said.. now smiling at her while he held out his hand..
“Anou… Harumi desu…” she said while doubtedly receiving his hand for a handshake and was shock when the cute guy in front of her lightly squeezed her hand.. she abruptly took her hand out, and the Shou lightly laughed.
“And that sleeping guy over there.. is my brother Shin..” he said..
“Ahh.. I’m really sorry Shou.. Please don’t tell your brother about this.. I mean.. “
“No.. it’s okay dear… by the way… why don’t you join us.. I mean.. I’ll introduce you to him…” he said teasingly.. However.. Harumi didn’t mind… Her eyes were only laid on Shou… “He’s so kakkoi.. and … I don’t know.. he’s so good to be true..” she thought..
“Ahh… No.. Shou… Actually, I’m with my sister right now too.. we were having a picnic, just a small bonding together.. you know..” she said..
“Ohh.. I see.” He said.. while waving at his brother’s direction who is now on his way towards them… which harumi didn’t even notice.. “So.. what if.. we join both of you? I mean.. me and my bro and you and your sis..” he asked…
“Errr… o—kay…” she answered.
Before heading their way to Kiyomi’s direction, Shou introduced her to Shin… But thankfully, he didn’t bust her from his brother about the incident a while ago. Shou just told Shin that he bumped at Harumi while he was on his way back to him and Harumi was busy taking pictures of the sky and didn’t even notice him coming..
So.. that was the scene that Shou explained… Harumi just nodded and told the same thing with her sister.
The four of them had picnic together… They shared food and got to know each other…
“Uhmmnn.. minna… I guess I’ll be buying some ice cream for the four of us… what do you think?” Kiyomi suggested.
“Okay sis.. I’ll go with you.” She was about to stand up when a hand stopped her.
“No need Harumi.. I’ll go with her…” Shin suddenly stood beside Kiyomi… “So, let’s go?”
Kiyomi just nodded shyly… and they slowly walked to where the ice cream stand is…
“Don’t worry Harumi.. you’re sister is with safe hands… Maa, I guess my brother likes her.” He commented.
Harumi just nodded and smile at the thought.
“Nee.. Kiyomi… wait up.” Shin said while catching up on her… “ I mean.. we don’t have to hurry…. Right?” he smiled at her…
“Err… but Harumi and Shou is waiting for the ice cream and~”
“Don’t worry dear… my bro is with her… she won’t even notice that time flies.” He said with a wink.
Kiyomi got what he was trying to tell and slowed down her pace. “Alright, you win.” She smiled.
Shin smiled back at her. “Kiyomi….” He said..
“Hmmmn?” Kiyomi looked at him.
“Errr… nothing.. I just wanted to say your name. It sounds beautiful… I mean.. it suits you.” He looked at her dreamily into her eyes.
Kiyomi blushed all of a sudden and her heart started to pound a bit faster. “Shockz~!!! This guy is insane…”she thought.
“And you look so much cuter when you blush Kiyomi,” Shin continued to compliment her.
“Come on Shin. Stop joking around.” She said with a small laugh and tried to act normally by slightly hitting Shin’s shoulder… However, what she did was wrong.. It was all wrong. She only gave him the chance to do his move.
Shin caught her hand and place it between his hands. “Really.. I am not messing around. I honestly like you.” He said seriously with dreamy eyes.
Kiyomi gulped and froze. “Come on Shin, we barely knew each other. I mean, we just met… right?”
“I know… that’s why…” he looked at her and smiled, “Can I see you again tomorrow? I mean… if that’s okay with you..” he asked hopefully.
“Etoo~..” she was about to answer when Shin touched her chin and made her face him.. straight to the eyes… “and Kiyomi, I won’t take no for an answer.”
Kiyomi gulped again but honestly… her heart was loosing its control.. it was running all over her body and couldn’t find the right spot were it should be placed normally.
“So???” Shin asked again..
“I guess I’m left with no choice…” she answered and smiled slightly.
“Yosh~!!!! So I’ll see you again tomorrow… Okay???” he said with a pleasing grin “Now, let’s grab some ice cream…” he said and energetically started his way to the ice cream stand.
Kiyomi just shook her head… Her emotions mixed with excitement, worries and unending happiness.
After buying themselves and there sis and bro some ice cream, they started their way to the meeting place.
“Yosh~!!! Arigatou Harumi… I really want to know you better. So, I’ll pick you up tomorrow, okay?” Shou said with cute excitement.
“Hai… hai… “ she said.. She really felt at ease with him. He’s so serious yet with a sense of humor.
“Yo~!! Delivery… delivery…” Shin shouted with energy. Happiness was obvious in his voice.
“Hahaha… thanks bro…” Shou accepted the ice cream and gave one to Harumi.
“Arigatou.” She said and looked at her sister who was still a bit red from blushing. She just smiled silently.
They spent a little bit more time together in the park. When it was getting a bit darker, they all decided to go home… The two guys send their newly found friend home so that they’ll know the address and could pick them up for their dates the next day…
